Water treatment system

A water treatment system is a complete set of equipment system that purifies, softens, disinfects and treats water sources through physical, chemical, biological and other means to meet the water needs of different industries. The following is a detailed explanation:

Core function

  • Purification treatment: Remove suspended solids, colloids, organic matter, odors and other impurities from water. Common processes include filtration (quartz sand, activated carbon filtration), precipitation, and clarification.
  • Softening treatment: Reduce the hardness of water, remove calcium and magnesium ions, avoid equipment scaling, commonly using ion exchange resin method and reverse osmosis method.
  • Desalination/Purification Treatment: Deeply remove salt and ions from water to prepare high-purity water. The core processes include reverse osmosis (RO), electric desalination (EDI), and distillation.
  • Disinfection and sterilization: To kill bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms in water and ensure water hygiene, methods include ultraviolet disinfection, ozone disinfection, and chemical disinfection (such as chlorination).

Main constituent units

  • Pre processing unit: raw water pump, quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, security filter (precision filtration), used to remove large particle impurities and some organic matter, and protect subsequent core equipment.
  • Core processing units: Softener (ion exchange column), reverse osmosis device, EDI module, distilled water machine (such as multi effect distilled water machine), to achieve deep purification of water quality.
  • Post processing unit: UV sterilizer, ozone generator, water storage tank, circulation pump, ensuring stable effluent quality and compliance with usage standards.
  • Control system: PLC touch screen, sensors (flow rate, pressure, conductivity, pH value) to achieve automated operation, parameter monitoring, and fault alarm.

Applicable industries and scenarios

  • Pharmaceutical industry: Prepare purified water and injection water (compliant with GMP and FDA standards) for drug production, liquid preparation, and equipment cleaning.
  • Medical industry: hospital disinfection water, laboratory pure water, meet the needs of medical diagnosis and experimentation.
